Part time - Retail Sales Associate

 

Location: The Forks, Winnipeg, MB
Hours: 10–15 hours/week (days, evenings, weekends)
Start Date: ASAP

If you love chatting with people, recommending products, and turning “just browsing” into “I need this,” keep reading.

What You’ll Be Doing:

​

  • Creating memorable in-store experiences

  • Greeting every customer with warmth and confidence

  • Sharing product knowledge and brand storytelling

  • Recommending, upselling, and cross-selling products

  • Introducing promotions and helping customers discover new favourites

  • Driving sales and working toward store goals

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store

  • Handling transactions and balancing the till

  • Communicating with the production team to keep inventory stocked

  • Contributing to a positive, high-energy team environment

​

You’re Perfect for This If You…

​

  • Have at least 1 year of retail or customer service experience

  • Are confident, outgoing, and enjoy engaging with people

  • Bring strong personal energy while still being a team player

  • Are organized and detail-oriented

  • Can work independently and take initiative

  • Are reliable and communicate clearly and professionally

  • Feel aligned with the Coal and Canary brand and aesthetic

  • Are eager to learn and grow

Availability

​

Summer (June–October):

  • Weekday evening closing shifts (3–4 hours)

  • Weekend availability (4–8 hour shifts)

​

Winter (October–May):

  • Primarily weekends

  • Friday evenings plus full availability Saturdays and Sundays

​

Pay

​

$16/hour
