Position: Customer Service Representative

Term: Full Time Permanent (35 hours weekly)

Location: Coal and Canary Head Office, Winnipeg, MB

Pay: Negotiable + benefits (after 3 months)

Start Date: ASAP


Coal and Canary is looking for a permanent Customer Success Superstar who lives the Coal and Canary lifestyle to be the face of our customer service! 



  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls and emails

  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve above average satisfaction

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools

  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution

  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents

  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

  • Go the extra mile to engage customers and build rapport and relationships

  • Organize office operations and procedures

  • Manage incoming and outgoing wholesale, retail and specialty orders with production

  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time

  • Provide general support to visitors

  • Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed, customer requests are reviewed and approved and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored

  • Review and get approval of special projects and keep the management properly informed

  • Run daily, weekly and monthly sales reports

  • Order and maintain office supply inventory

  • Assistance with other office duties as required.
