Holiday Cocktail Inspo

December 4, 2018

One of our favourite parts of the holidays is the parties! We live for dressing up in our most extra outfits and dancing all night to festive tunes.

Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE being basic — especially during the holidays — but we definitely don’t want our cocktails to be boring.

Here’s some drinks inspo that will impress all your holiday party guests. Or you can enjoy them while binging holiday movies in your pyjamas ;)

Cranberry Mimosas

  • Cranberry juice cocktail

  • Orange liqueur (Triple Sec)

  • Your favourite champagne

  • Optional: Fresh rosemary sprigs and fresh cranberries for garnish

Fill one third of your glass with cranberry juice cocktail. Add a splash of orange liqueur. Fill the remaining two thirds of your glass with champagne – YAAAAS.

Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs and fresh cranberries. Take a cute picture to show it off.

Holiday Sangria

·      2 bottles Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay

·      3/4 cup sparkling apple cider

·      1/4 cup sugar

·      1/4 cup cranberries, halved

·      3/4 cup cranberries, whole

·      1 Granny Smith apple, chopped

·      3 rosemary sprigs

Combine all ingredients together in a large pitcher.

Stir together with a large wooden spoon to help the sugar dissolve.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving – we know you don’t want to wait, but it’s worth it!

Serve chilled with a garnish of rosemary sprigs. Make sure to get some fruit in every glass so everyone can enjoy the full effect of this delish sangria.

Peppermint Chocolate Martini

  • 1 cup chocolate milk

  • 1 shot chocolate liqueur

  • 1/2 shot peppermint liqueur

  • Crushed peppermint/candy canes, for garnish

Pour chocolate milk into a martini shaker. Add the liqueurs and shake to combine.

No martini shaker? Just add all the ingredients into a glass and stir it up.

It’s that easy!!! Pour into a glass and serve!
