Last week we had a work retreat/staycation at Mere Hotel. We were greeted with a welcoming “Mere scent” in the lobby — can we duplicate that btw? — and got to lounge around on the fancy modern furniture while we waiting for Tom, who is always fashionably late.
If you haven’t been to Mere Hotel yet, you most certainly will recognize it. The loud, but tasteful exterior matches the playful and modern inside of the hotel.
Our room had a gorgeous view of the river and we were welcomed with free WiFi and complimentary bottled water, juice, Nespresso coffee and snacks in our room.
We resisted the temptation to immediately crawl into our comfy robes and lie down on the super lux beds, but only because we were a stumble away from Cibo. We frequent there for breakfast, but it’s been a minute since we had wine and apps, and we were due!
After doing some catwalks down the aisle — you missed out if you don’t follow our Instagram Stories — we fell asleep and dreamed up new ideas for candle names. Jk we were in a food and wine coma, but we were happy about it. Our only regret is not having time to use the walk-in rain showers and the Molten brown bath amenities. Next time we hopefully wont have to get up early and go to a work conference. Wah!
