Our 5 Favourite Date Night Spots
If dining out was an Olympic sport then our team would be gold medalists. We like to do what we can to support local restaurants, so it’s good karma to go out, right?
If you’re struggling to pick a place for February date night, or Valentine’s Day if you can haul your butt out on a Wednesday when it’s freezing outside, then we have made a list of our favourite spots just for you!
They are actually so delish they might be already booked up — we didn’t check. #sorry
Tom practically lived at The Cornerstone before school started. Negronis, cava and Monday $1.50 per shuck were his jam. It might be worth the wait to celebrate your love next Monday.
Mozza and Wine Bar
If you aren’t sold on the name then you will be by their Instagram page. Pizzas, pastas, unreal apps, cocktails and obviously wine. Get. In. Us. Now.
This new place located at 557 Osborne St. offers a four-course meal for $46! And they pride themselves on using locally grown ingredients and natural wines. Not for the picky eater — we will eat anything you put in front of us. If you love new and fantastic tastes then seriously give this place a go.

Scott Bagshaw can do no wrong — lol when it comes to food that is. Dishing up contemporary Italian food at his newest location, which happens to be super close to our store. We’re not mad about it. We actually want to try every single thing on the menu, and then come back for lunch to corto and try everything there too.
One of our go-tos. We love Mandel, we love the atmosphere and we LOVE tapas. If your looking for a beautiful setting, trying a bit of everything, and a great location then get your butts to deer + almond. The servers are always super knowledgeable and it’s a great space to spend an evening slowly devouring share plates.
