It’s been a busy last couple weeks and we have no intentions of slowing down — until our bodies go into shock from the lack of sugar because of our Coal and Canary Biggest Loser Challenge. We haven't even had time to memorize the lyrics to Despacito — did you know it means "slowly?"
Do we have six pack abs yet?
No, but at least we can smell our sweet candles to feel slightly more satisfied.
We revamped our Glamping and Girl’s Night In collections with new packaging and an updated scent: our Good Beats & Eatin' Sweets candle is now an indulgent blend of peanut butter, brown sugar and vanilla. It smells good enough to eat — but don't!
Karly from KiSS 102.3 had us on her show on Monday morning to talk about our Girl’s Night In collection and tempt us with sabotage candies. She’s a #superstar. But we are also superstars for not falling victim to the cup full of pixie sticks! We talked playlists, how we met, and about good ol' times with friends. It was so much fun! You can watch us flaunt our radio voices right here!
This week is extra special because Manitoba’s first Dragons' Nest conference was yesterday and we were asked to be Dragons! Amanda was sweet and smart like Arlene and ready to take on any challenge. Tom was kind of a Kevin when he didn't had his sugar fix, sorry not sorry.
Students developed their entrepreneurial skills by creating a product or service that met a market need with the mentorship of professionals in the industry. The proceeds from these projects were donated to a charity in the community. Good karma points! Finalists were selected through a video pitch to present to the Dragons!
We swear we actually do work and not just go out for lunch and to super fun events! We wouldn’t give up any opportunity to meet young Manitobans who want to start their own businesses. It was so inspiring to see the ambition and great ideas the youth of our province have to offer! Those little go-getters might create the next Instagram, and we totally want to be on their good side. Can somebody tell us what "smh" means though?
Peace and chicken grease!
Amanda and Tom
